Ticks in Horses
Ticks in Horses
Tikz provides natural support to help build a strong immune system which helps withstand worm challenges in horses and ponies. As a result, internal parasites can be maintained at a minimum level in a natural way.
Imuworm has been used for many years and is easy to administer. It is a liquid and it should be added to the feed or drinking water on a monthly basis. Horses should be given 100ml per month whereas ponies should be given 50 ml per month. It is also suitable for donkeys.
Worms in Horses
According to the British Horse Society, “worms adversely affect the health and wellbeing of horses and ponies”. Resistance to anthelmintics and/or high internal worm burden can and do cause extensive internal damage. There are many different types of worms in horses including tapeworms, roundworms, redworms, pinworms, bot flies and threadworms.
The symptoms of worms include:
A dull coat
Poor condition
Weight loss
Proven Results with Imuworm
A trial was carried out with 88 horses to determine the effectiveness of the product. The horses were given Imuworm every month for four months and the results displayed a dramatic decrease in worm egg count (eggs/g). After the trial was completed, there were no recorded instances of the egg count exceeding the allowable level in the group.
